Pastor Bill Mitchell is a third generation Boca Ratonion. Born and raised locally, he graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with a B.A. in Bible and Theology and a Masters of Christian Ministry. His heart is truly to reach out to people both locally through compassion ministries and internationally through mission trips to other countries and bring them to the saving grace of Christ, our Savior.
Bill and his wife Elizabeth met at Boca Raton Community Church. They have four wonderful children.
Pastor Sal Cavarretta grew up in Boca Raton and graduated from Boca Raton High School. He received a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and a Master's of Divinity degree from Grace Theological Seminary. He is passionate about bringing health and life to the church and families through leadership, team building, equipping, and creative teaching.
Sal has been married to Giovana since 1992 and they have three beautiful children.
Student Ministries Pastor
Glenn is a native Floridian, who grew up right outside Daytona Beach in Palm Coast. He finished his undergraduate degree in 2007 with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida. He earned an M.A. in Christian Education and an M.A. in Media Arts & Communications from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2013. His passion is to see students changed by the gospel, equipped through discipleship and sent out to change the world in the name of Christ. He will tell you that the best thing about him is his wife Katelyn whom he met in Dallas and married in 2012. He also enjoys golf, ultimate frisbee, Gator sports and spending quality time with friends.
Clay has served in a worship and leadership capacity for most of his life. He is an accomplished keyboardist (undergraduate studies at University of Michigan and graduate studies at University of California Santa Barbara-piano performance), songwriter and arranger, and has led and taught worship at numerous national and international venues. Clay has recently written a book titled The Framework of Worship which addresses many of the issues that ministry and worship leadership face in today’s culture.
Clay’s calling and passion is to lead the church in worship that is more relational and participatory rather than observational, while using Psalms 33:3 as his standard: “Sing to the Lord a new song, play skillfully and shout for joy.” He and his wife, Sheri, have three adult children and three adorable grandkids.
Bill Hood III
Middle School Ministries Director
Bill grew up in Boca Raton as a kid attending Boca Community until he graduated from Boca Raton Christian School in 2011. Four years later he received a B.A. in Christian Education from Wheaton College when he graduated in 2015. Bill has always had a desire to point others towards the face of Christ and to experience the amazing love that He offers them in His death upon the cross.
Bill enjoys almost any sport, is a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, and enjoys board games a tad more than the average person.

Bill III was born and raised in Boca Raton. He received a B.A. in Bible and a minor in Pastoral Ministry from Moody Bible Institute in 2007.
Bill and his wife Lindsay have been married since 2008 and have two adorable children.
College & Young Adult Ministries Director
Cameron grew up in South Florida, moving away in 2006 to obtain a B.S. in Business Administration from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. Along the way, he met his wife Sarah, whom he married in 2012. Soon afterwards, they returned to South Florida to make it their home. Cameron has enjoyed serving with student ministries at Boca Community for several years, and is excited for the opportunity to impact college students and young adults to reach the world for Christ. Cameron is also an avid football fan and music lover.
Outreach & International Ministries Director
John has over 30 years experience as an entrepreneur in Financial Services. He moved from Texas to South Florida for business reasons in 1993. That same year John and Debby joined Boca Raton Community Church. It was a church mission trip to Haiti in 2002 that changed John's life. He found his purpose and passion in International Ministries. John feels humbled by the opportunity to be a part of WorldLead. John's partner in Mission Ministry is his wife Debby. They have been married since 1975.
Children’s Ministries Director
Karen and her husband, Bob, moved to Boca Raton from Salem, Oregon to be with their grandchildren. Karen loves children and has worked in Children’s ministry and Music ministry for more than 30 years. She was commissioned through the Evangelical Church for ministry. Her desire is to love and invest in boys and girls so they will learn to trust Jesus and know Him as their personal Savior. Bob and Karen have three wonderful daughters and three godly sons-in-law, all of whom are faithfully serving God around the US.
Danielle loves to work with children of all ages. She began her career 25 years ago working in the medical field with a focus on pediatrics. She has since transitioned to education and continues to work with and serve the children in our community.
Danielle and her husband have three wonderful children.
Christian School Headmaster
Dr. Tennies joined Boca Raton Christian School in 1977 from Cypress Lakes Middle School in Ft. Myers, FL. He has a BS in Biology from Wheaton College, MA in Science Education from the University of South Florida, Ed.S in Administration/ Supervision from FAU and a Doctor of Education in Administration/ Supervision from FAU. He lives in Boca Raton with his wife, Ruth. They have two grown daughters, Debbie and Julie.
