Joining the Boca Community Family
We are so excited that you are interested in joining the community of believers at Boca Community. Joining a local church is such an important step in following Christ. Here's your chance to learn about our history, where we are today and where we hope to go in the future. You will also learn important information about our beliefs, the ministries of the church, and what we are called to accomplish. At Boca Community, we look forward to welcoming you into the family where God uses each of us to accomplish His mission for this body of Christ-followers. You will have an opportunity to join the church after completing this class.
What is membership?
Being a member at Boca Community means that you are becoming a part of our spiritual family and joining us on the most important and exciting journey you will ever take. A Christian life involves more than just believing. It also includes belonging.
How do I become a member?
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
We believe that the church is not a building but a body of committed followers of Jesus Christ. The first and most important step in any person’s life is receiving Jesus Christ as their Savior. - Baptism
Many well-respected Christians have varying views on baptism. We believe that after a person has placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, he is to get baptized. We refer to this as believer's baptism. - Faithful Sunday morning attendance of at least 2 months
- Attendance at the next membership class
When is the next class?
Our membership class is completed in two consecutive weeks. The next membership class is being held on March 4 and 11, 2012 from 12:00-2:00 PM. Online registration ends one week before the first class session.Classes are held in the Family Room located in the lobby of the main auditorium. A light lunch is provided.
Childcare for infants to 5th grade is available only if pre-registered.
