We believe that God has commanded us as a community of believers to take care of each other’s needs. To act on this command, we have multiple ministries to fulfill various needs that may arise in our members’ lives. Please see below for more information on these ministries and how you can get involved.
We have Care & Help opportunities available throughout the week, scroll down for more information.
Separation and Divorce is not something anyone should go through alone. If you are going through these struggles, our DivorceCare class can help. It is a Bible-based 13 week series with facilitators who lead from experience, because they have been where you are. Through lessons and small group discussions on topics such as anger, depression and loneliness, our goal is for you to have the support you need and to experience God’s healing. We are here to help and would love for you to join us at any time.
When: Thursdays 6:30 – 8:30p, beginning Sep 8
Where: Sanctuary – Family Room
When divorce or separation happens, the whole family is affected. That is why we offer DivorceCare for Kids between the ages of 5 and 12 at the same time as DivorceCare when space is available. If you are interested in this class for your children, please Contact DivorceCare to check availability.
We believe in following God’s command in James 1:27 to look after those among us who are in need. Our Women’s Visitation Team does this by visiting and helping those who for whatever reason, are confined to their homes or are in the hospital. Our team makes their rounds every Thursday. They strive to ensure that no one is forgotten, and makes sure every person is visited at least once a month. If you would like to take part in this ministry, please contact Jan Slossberg.
When you experience a loss, illness, crisis, or even something joyful such as a birth, finding ways to feed yourself and your family can be a source of great stress. That is why we created our Meals Ministry – to take away this source of worry during times that are filled with enough troubles of their own. Please contact us to let us know how we can help.
If you would like to bless someone by providing them a meal, please contact us to see how you can help.
We have all periods of struggle in our lives and need encouragement to get through. That is what Saturday Night Hope at Boca Raton Community Church is for. Every Saturday night, we get together to share what we are going through, and to support one another in our time of need. We believe God and His Word are our greatest source of encouragement and hope, so we also have a time of learning and worship, and then reflection on what we have learned and what God is teaching us.
If you are experiencing the death of a friend or loved one, planning the funeral is the last thing you want to think about. We are here to help take the stress out of this time in your life. Please contact us to arrange plans.
