Proverbs 22:6 — “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
Our primary aim is for children (Birth – Kindergarten) to know from an early age that God loves them and that they can trust Him with their whole hearts. As our guiding verse says, we want to train our boys and girls to help prepare them for life through teaching them foundational lessons like how to make friends and how to be a friend to others. We also love to teach them to memorize Scripture so it will be written on their hearts.
We want boys and girls to come to love Him and to know the Church is a place where they can feel safe, loved, encouraged, strengthened, & confident.
Sunday: Meet at the sanctuary building for children’s church
Wednesday: We have Awana in the RAC during the fall/spring, and WOW Survivor during July in the sanctuary building.
On Sunday mornings, we have different activities for children based on their age level. We provide care for ages birth-5th grade, with our younger children in the nursery, and older children taking part in activities ranging from games and Bible stories to a Children’s worship service that runs similarly to the main service, with biblical teaching and worship.
Awana is a fun, weekly ministry for children ranging from two year olds through fifth graders that focuses on Biblical instruction, training, and mentoring. We believe that knowledge of God’s Word is key to growth in faith, so the cornerstone of Awana is Bible verse memorization. We have different age groups: Puggles (two year olds), Cubbies (3-4 years), Sparks (K-2nd grade), & TNT (Truth in Training) (3rd-5th) – we hope you’ll join us!
If you’re interested in your child participating in Awana, please contact Children’s Ministry.
Our trained nursery workers love and are skilled in caring for babies and toddlers. You can rest assured that your little ones will be taken care of when you leave them in our care during life groups and worship service on Sunday mornings.
"I know that when I leave my daughter in the nursery, I can rest assured that she is being cared for by people who love the Lord and love her too!"
