Pastor Bill Mitchell is a third generation Boca Ratonion. Born and raised locally, he graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with a B.A. in Bible and Theology and a Masters of Christian Ministry. His heart is truly to reach out to people both locally through compassion ministries and internationally through mission trips to other countries and bring them to the saving grace of Christ, our Savior.

Pastor Larry Herndon has served as an Executive Pastor and other ministerial positions for over forty years throughout the South. He has an undergraduate degree in Public Administration from the University of Mississippi and a Masters of Divinity from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. His passion is to come alongside the Pastor and work with the day-to-day aspects of ministry and staff, allowing the Senior Pastor the ability to concentrate of the teaching, shepherding, and discipleship of the congregation.

Clay has served in a worship and leadership capacity for most of his life. He is an accomplished keyboardist (undergraduate studies at University of Michigan and graduate studies at University of California Santa Barbara-piano performance), songwriter and arranger, and has led and taught worship at numerous national and international venues. Clay has recently written a book titled The Framework of Worship which addresses many of the issues that ministry and worship leadership face in today’s culture.

Roger grew up in Boca Raton, and is deeply connected to Boca Community. He attended Iglesia Hispana de Boca Raton, Boca Raton Community Church, and then graduated from Boca Raton Christian School. He has served in various ministries over the last ten years, including Campus Crusade for Christ, First Priority of South Florida, and various student pastor roles. He has a B.A. in Christian Education and an M.A. in Theology from Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary.
Roger married his beautiful wife, Rachel, in October 2010. Roger loves South Florida, coffee, college football, and all things leadership.Send a Message
Jody has worked full-time with students since 1998. His passion is for the church and the home to work together and for every leader, volunteer, and parent to be on the same page to make a greater impact in a child’s life. Jody graduated from Liberty University with a specialization in student ministry. He has also received an MAR and MDIV from Liberty Theological Seminary. In addition, Jody leads a nonprofit organization called Breakthrough Ministries. He has been married since 2000 to his wife Ruth and has two boys Dawson and Graham. Children’s Ministries Director
Karen and her husband, Bob, moved to Boca Raton from Salem, Oregon to be with their grandchildren. Karen loves children and has worked in Children’s ministry and Music ministry for more than 30 years. She was commissioned through the Evangelical Church for ministry. Her desire is to love and invest in boys and girls so they will learn to trust Jesus and know Him as their personal Savior. Bob and Karen have three wonderful daughters and three godly sons-in-law, all of whom are faithfully serving God around the US.Send a Message

Cameron grew up in South Florida, moving away in 2006 to obtain a B.S. in Business Administration from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. Along the way, he met his wife Sarah, whom he married in 2012. Soon afterwards, they returned to South Florida to make it their home. Cameron enjoys working with the Young Adults, helping them grow in their walk with Christ and encouraging them to impact the world for Him. He also enjoys football, ultimate frisbee, Apple products, and a good cup of coffee.Send a Message
Young Adult & Worship Assistant
Bill grew up in Boca Raton as a kid attending Boca Community until he graduated from Boca Raton Christian School in 2011. Four years later he received a B.A. in Christian Education from Wheaton College when he graduated in 2015. Bill has always had a desire to point others towards the face of Christ and to experience the amazing love that He offers them in His death upon the cross.
Bill enjoys almost any sport, is a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, and enjoys board games a tad more than the average person.Send a Message
Member Care Director
Michael has attended Boca Community since 2014, serving and leading in various Community Groups. In 2015, he graduated from South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary with an M.A. in Biblical Studies. Michael volunteers at Faith Farm Ministry, ministering to one hundred men enrolled in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. He also volunteers at Bridges of America, ministering to one hundred prison inmates in a work release program. He has been happily married to Kristie for over ten years, with two vibrant young boys. He enjoys reading, fitness, being in the outdoors, and spending time with his family.Send a Message

John has over 30 years experience as an entrepreneur in Financial Services. He moved from Texas to South Florida for business reasons in 1993. That same year John and Debby joined Boca Raton Community Church. It was a church mission trip to Haiti in 2002 that changed John’s life. He found his purpose and passion in International Ministries. John feels humbled by the opportunity to be a part of WorldLead. John’s partner in Mission Ministry is his wife Debby. They have been married since 1975.Send a Message
Development & Stewardship Director
David was raised in Springfield, Virginia. After completing his undergraduate degree at George Mason University, he became a CPA and co-founded the firm Rice & Baldwin, LLP. David enjoys collaborating with other leaders to impact the world for the Kingdom, as well as starting new initiatives. His greatest passion is inspiring and helping others pursue their God-given callings. Part of this inspiration led David to author four faith-based books. David moved to Boca Raton in 2013 for the warm weather, to enjoy the ocean, and most importantly to find community, which he has found at Boca Community.Send a Message
Tim is a native Floridian who grew up in Fort Lauderdale through his teenage years, then moved to upstate New York with his family, where he worked in the emergency medical field. Since then he has moved back to sunny South Florida where he has worked in the audio visual industry for over 20 years. Tim enjoys reading, fitness, time with family, and anything involving the ocean.Send a Message
Georgette has served in various ministries throughout south Florida, including children, students, women, and more. She joined our staff in 2011, three years after she began attending Boca Community. Georgette currently serves in the position of Event Coordinator. She is passionate about assisting ministries to accomplish their goals and reach people more effectively. This passion can be seen in everything she does, including BocaLead, of which she has been an integral part since its launch in 2014.

Danielle loves to work with children of all ages. She began her career 25 years ago working in the medical field with a focus on pediatrics. She has since transitioned to education and continues to work with and serve the children in our community.

Dr. Tennies joined Boca Raton Christian School in 1977 from Cypress Lakes Middle School in Ft. Myers, FL. He has a BS in Biology from Wheaton College, M.A. in Science Education from the University of South Florida, Ed.S in Administration/ Supervision from FAU and a Doctor of Education in Administration/ Supervision from FAU.
