Blessings in a Backpack provides weekly backpacks filled with nutritious food to children enrolled in the National Free and Reduced lunch program in local schools. Each week volunteers from BRCC and partner churches pack backpacks with food for the students to take home to supplement their meals over the weekend. This program has proven to help the students achieve better academic scores and to lower absenteeism from school.

If you have a few extra hours a week to spare, we need your help! We are looking for drivers, team leaders, packers, and help with logistics. Contact Outreach Ministries at 561.395.2400 ext. 349 or e-mail outreachbocacommunity.org.

Clothing Distribution

We work with local shelters to provide clothing for people in need throughout Palm Beach and Broward County. Clothing is also distributed in foreign countries to our missionaries to be distributed through their compassion ministries.

Senior Outreach

Weekly, our visitation team reaches out to those in our congregation and our community who are elderly or shut-in, providing them with someone to talk with and to care about them. Lunches are hosted by our Women’s Ministry for these ladies three times a year.

Prison Ministries

Our Men’s and Women’s Prison Ministry Teams present the gospel with music and an outpouring of love to those who are incarcerated. Our teams visit each week. If you are interested in joining our team, please contact the Outreach Office for more information. Please note: This is the only ministry where you are required to be a member of Boca Raton Community Church to participate.

Children’s Christmas Initiative

Our Children’s Christmas Initiative provides opportunities to bring Christmas blessings to children in need. You can purchase gifts for foster children or children of prisoners in Palm Beach County, and also bless children around the world.

4KIDS Foster Parent Ministry

4KIDS of South Florida has an office on the BRCC Campus. We are working with 4KIDS to seek to offer protection, provision and a permanent solution for the 3 to 4 thousand children in the South Florida foster care system. Consider becoming a Foster Parent or a Respite Caregiver. Contact the 4KIDS office for more information. 954.556.4685.
