To Share Christ So Others May Know Christ
Mission Compassion mobilizes our church to humbly serve the hurting and needy people of our community so they may come to know Christ as Savior.
To share Christ with our local community via consistent, meaningful, and loving acts of compassion with the express purpose that others may know Christ.
Mission Compassion’s vision is for the people of Boca Raton Community Church to break out from the church and impact their community for Jesus Christ.
Mission Compassion’s vision is for Boca Raton Community Church to infuse local Christian ministries with servanthood volunteers to assist these ministries with their mission to serve the needy and hurting people of South Florida.
Mission Compassion’s vision is that Boca Raton Community Church will minister in such a humble and servanthood manner, that needy and hurting people will be so touched, they will desire to know the Christ we serve.
Mission Compassion’s vision to show love in a tangible way so that needy and hurting people can better understand the love of God and desire to know him.
We have not forgotten that “the closer we draw to Christ, the more our lives will be transformed. And as our lives are transformed, we become ‘transforming agents’ to the world. Everything and everyone with whom we have contact will be affected. We share with our words and our compassion; indeed, with our very lives.”
Mission Compassion will reach out to the community by partnering with other Christian organizations to minister to the elderly, inner-city children, single mothers, abused women and children, rehabilitation groups, food kitchens, and shelters.
EVERYONE! Including You! You can be personally involved on many different levels. Do not think that your age or abilities will limit you. Some of the ways you can become involved are through prayer groups, Adult Communities, and Small Groups. You can collect and bring in items that are needed. You may choose to help prepare food, assemble gift baskets, deliver baskets, help with an outreach event, and PRAY! Reach out and touch someone in need.
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being likeminded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Philippians 2:1-4
