Our middle and high schoolers are a high energy group that love to have fun. Each area of our ministry is aimed at using that energy for the glory of God. The greatest way we build community is through our weekly community groups. Here, our students have a safe space to be authentic about their struggles in pursuit of a deeper relationship with God and with each other. The goal of these groups and of other activities such as StudentLead, is discipleship, where true Christ followers and leaders can be grown and sent out into the world to reproduce other disciples for the Lord.
Wednesday: Our community groups meet on Wednesday nights at 6:00p. High school meets in the White House and middle school meets in the RAC.
Sunday: We have our monthly First Sunday event in the RAC on the first Sunday of each month.
See below for more information about our gatherings.
If you want to get plugged in, find fellowship with peers and receive mentoring from leaders, join us each Wednesday for community groups. We consider it the lifeline of our ministry because we believe students are most impacted through ongoing peer & leader relationships centered on exploring Scripture and its application to our lives.
We start each week at 6:00p with dinner, games, and a brief lesson. Then we break into grade-specific groups to engage each other and the content. If you haven’t plugged in to a group yet, there is no better time to start than now.
"My community group gives me an opportunity to be open about my struggles without fear of my group judging me. In essence, my group helps me grow."
We meet the first Sunday of every month from 6:30p – 8:30p
On the first Sunday of every month from 6:30-8:30p we have a large group outreach event in the RAC with skits, games, music, and practical teaching from the Bible.
It’s a great place for newcomers to check out our ministry for the first time, and is a resource for our students to get their friends involved.
StudentLead is for high school students who are committed to growing into leaders of our ministry.
We meet twice a month on Sundays from 6:00-7:30p to train and mobilize students who have a desire to be compassionate ambassadors for Christ in their schools and communities. If students are wanting to grow as leaders, this is the place to jump in!
Throughout the year, we have a number of special events that help our students engage with each other and the gospel:
Rock the Universe (September) – A fun, overnight trip to take part in a Christian music festival hosted at Universal Studios in Orlando.
DNow Boca (February) – Every year, our church joins together with other local churches to spend an impactful and life-changing weekend together focused on student Discipleship.
Reach Week (Summer) – An overnight, multi-day event focused on teaching our students the importance of reaching out to their local community through evangelism and service projects
Mission Trip (Summer) – Every summer, our students have an opportunity to put what they’ve been learning all year into practice on a mission trip to serve others through one of our global ministry partners.
