The mission of BRCC Student Ministry is

“Striving towards an authentic
relationship with Jesus Christ"

We have 4 core ministry values: Community, Authenticity, Reproduction, and Energy.

Community

Hebrews 10:24-25 – “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

We place great emphasis on building community within our student ministry. We believe it is our God-given responsibility to grow Godly relationships and to display Christ-like love through our every action. We must encourage one another towards a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Authenticity

Philippians 3:10 – “I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sharing in sufferings, becoming like Him in His death.”

Our desire is to see students truly experience a relationship with Jesus Christ on a daily basis. We encourage authentic Christian living through every word and deed. We must never be satisfied with our spiritual state; instead we must continually seek to grow closer to God.

Reproduction

Matthew 28:18-20 – “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”

Through discipleship, accountability, and outreach our passion is to grow the body of Christ. We believe it is our God-given responsibility to share the Gospel with everyone we come in contact with, to reach out of our comfort zone to serve, and to become disciplined followers of Jesus Christ.

Energy

Ecclesiastes 3:1,4 – “There is a time for everything, and a season for everything under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.”

We believe providing excitement is important to growing a Student Ministry. We commit to providing a high energy atmosphere of worship and fellowship amongst Christian teenagers. Our ministry will be characterized by joyful excitement displayed at all activities and events.
