Outreach: Boca Helping Hands Food Center
On the 4th Saturday of every month, our outreach group at the Boca Helping Hands Food Center helps prepare and distribute meals to those in need. Under the instruction of a chef, we help prepare a meal, serve it to about 175 people, and cleanup afterwards.
Our goal is to be the light of Christ to other volunteers and those in the community and we joyfully serve in whatever way that is needed. As with all our groups, we are Christ-centered and we value authentic community and whole-life generosity.
All volunteers must park in the parking lot across the street and are required to wear close-toed shoes with rubber soles with their hair tied back and in a baseball type cap or hair net. Aprons and gloves are provided.
This group is still able to meet with a limited number of people under Boca Helping Hands' safety restrictions due to COVID-19. Click the Tell Me More button for more info.
