This study takes your group through the epic narrative of Exodus, where God draws His people out of slavery to draw them into relationship with Him. Most of us have not experienced physical slavery but all of us have been enslaved at one time or another to the sinful desires of our heart. Take a journey to see how God relentlessly pursues His people, enacts divine justice in our world, and opens up a way for us to find satisfaction in His presence. Each week provides text and application questions for your group and is paired with a sermon from the Village Church.
This study focuses on how to use the Psalms to pray in a way that digs deep into your own heart, as well as deal with God as He is and as He reveals Himself through Scripture. The curriculum shows two outlines of methods for including the Psalms in your prayer life, with examples and group exercises to learn and practice them together. The study sessions walk through specifically chosen Psalms to teach on the components of meditation, repentance, sorrow, petition, and adoration as seen throughout the book. There are a total of 20 lessons with additional notes and background information included in the Leaders Guide.

This study takes your group through the Gospel of Matthew in 100 days and is centered on building healthy Jesus followers. During this time your group will journey with Jesus through the varying seasons of His ministry and have the opportunity to reflect on their own lives in light of how Jesus lives His. If we are to follow Jesus well, we are on a daily journey with Him and this study seeks to promote that lifestyle by providing daily readings of about 10 verses. Each week provides text and application questions for your group and many weeks have additional Leader Notes on the back for added insight or tricky passages.

This in-depth study takes you verse by verse through the gospel of Mark, discussing the true purpose and intent of the Gospel accounts, as well as major themes of the good news we believe. The study is broken into two major parts, with Part I addressing Who Jesus Is, and Part II addressing What Jesus Came to Do. Major topics include the meaning of the Kingdom, the meaning of free grace, faith and power, following the King, the meaning of Jesus’ death, and more. There are 16 lessons with group study and application questions, as well as additional notes, information, and background in the Leaders Guide, as well as some optional studies for digging further into the context and truth of this book.

This in-depth study of the book of Acts is designed to prepare you and your group to be effective witnesses for Christ in the world. Chapter by chapter, this study leads you through the major themes of preparing your life for God’s use, grasping and sharing the Gospel with others, how people are changed through conversion, how to confront objections and make a case for the truth of Christianity, and learning strategies for outreach. This study also provides a chance for your group to choose an outreach project to do together so you can practice what you’ve learned. There are 29 lessons with content and application questions for each lesson, as well as additional notes and background information included in the Leaders Guide.
This in-depth study of the book of Romans carefully leads your group to examine what it truly means to receive God’s righteousness by faith. The lessons and questions walk through the meaning and implications of the Gospel, while challenging your group members to ask if they truly know and experience the Gospel in their own lives. Major topics include the need for the Gospel, how justification works, fighting sin with the Spirit, the Gospel and the Jews, how the Gospel transforms our relationships with our friends, enemies, the world, and others. Each of the 23 lessons contains group questions that focus on observation, interpretation, and application of the text to best understand and study the Scripture, with additional background information and notes included in the Leaders Guide.

This 6-part study is designed to help your group learn about what it means to have authentic community. This curriculum will help you begin to have conversations foundational for encouraging one another, caring for one another, handling conflict when it arises and building accountable relationships. True community doesn’t develop overnight, but if you’re committed, your group will soon begin to understand that God is good in the countless ways He uses us in each other’s lives.

Knowing what a healthy church looks like is for every believer because each person plays a key role in building up the church to be the body of Christ. On top of that, oftentimes one of the biggest hindrances for nonbelievers in their pursuit of Christ is the poor example of the Church. This study will offer practical steps for your group to be part of the solution to helping the Church model Jesus’ character more clearly. This study takes you from Genesis through Revelation pointing out key texts that help us understand the importance of prayer and fasting, as well as answer key questions for Christians today. Through these Scriptures we see that prayer and fasting are not just for our daily needs but are designed to help us find greater intimacy and satisfaction in God Himself. Each session offers discussion questions for your group and is paired with a video teaching by David Platt.
This study is a 9-part series that addresses the need for Christians to understand what we believe amidst a myriad of religions claiming to be the truth. Through these sessions your group will grow in understanding the Gospel, understanding the beliefs of other major religions, and how to uniquely share Christ with all people groups. In South Florida, a region with many different religions, this study can give great support and application to any believer surrounded by those who do not know Christ. This 6-part study is intended to lead your group through the definition and purpose of Biblical conflict resolution, and how to implement these truths and concepts in their lives and relationships with others. As believers, we are called to a high standard in addressing problems and disagreements, in order to best imitate and represent Christ. Each of the 6 lessons contain a short chapter with Scripture references, and discussion questions that lead your group to evaluate how they currently handle conflict, as well as how to best change their approach to match that of Christ. Walk with your group as this study challenges and teaches you to handle conflict resolution in a way that edifies others and honors Christ.
