Pastor Bill Mitchell is a third generation Boca Ratonion. Born and raised locally, he graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with a B.A. in Bible and Theology and a Masters of Christian Ministry. His heart is truly to reach out to people both locally through compassion ministries and internationally through mission trips to other countries and bring them to the saving grace of Christ, our Savior.

Clay has served in a worship and leadership capacity for most of his life. He is an accomplished keyboardist (undergraduate studies at University of Michigan and graduate studies at University of California Santa Barbara-piano performance), songwriter and arranger, and has led and taught worship at numerous national and international venues. Clay has recently written a book titled The Framework of Worship which addresses many of the issues that ministry and worship leadership face in today’s culture.

Jody has worked full-time with students since 1998. His passion is for the church and the home to work together and for every leader, volunteer, and parent to be on the same page to make a greater impact in a child’s life. Jody graduated from Liberty University with a specialization in student ministry. He has also received an MAR and MDIV from Liberty Theological Seminary. In addition, Jody leads a nonprofit organization called Breakthrough Ministries. He has been married since 2000 to his wife Ruth and has two boys Dawson and Graham. Cameron grew up in South Florida and obtained a B.S. in Business Administration from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. Along the way, he met his wife Sarah, who currently serves in the Women’s Ministry. Cameron leads our Groups Ministry, which includes Study, Serve and Outreach Groups. His goal is to help people connect in authentic relationships that lead to spiritual transformation. He also enjoys ultimate frisbee, singing too loud, Apple products, and a good cup of coffee.

Karen and her husband, Bob, moved to Boca Raton from Salem, Oregon to be with their grandchildren. Karen loves children and has worked in Children’s ministry and Music ministry for more than 30 years. She was commissioned through the Evangelical Church for ministry. Her desire is to love and invest in boys and girls so they will learn to trust Jesus and know Him as their personal Savior. Bob and Karen have three wonderful daughters and three godly sons-in-law, all of whom are faithfully serving God around the US.Send a Message

Bill grew up in Boca Raton. After receiving a B.A. in Christian Education from Wheaton College in 2015, he returned to join the staff of Boca Community. Bill has a passion for worshipping the Lord through music (as well as dance) and helping others do the same. He also loves the young adult community here and is excited for the ways the Lord is growing them into authentic and mature Christians.

John has over 30 years experience as an entrepreneur in Financial Services. He moved from Texas to South Florida for business reasons in 1993. That same year John and Debby joined Boca Raton Community Church. It was a church mission trip to Haiti in 2002 that changed John’s life. He found his purpose and passion in international ministries. John feels humbled by the opportunity to be a part of WorldLead. John’s partner in ministry is his wife Debby. They have been married since 1975.Send a Message
Tim is a native Floridian who grew up in Fort Lauderdale through his teenage years, then moved to upstate New York with his family, where he worked in the emergency medical field. Since then he has moved back to sunny South Florida where he has worked in the audio visual industry for over 20 years. Georgette has served in various ministries throughout south Florida, including children, students, women, and more. She joined our staff in 2011, three years after she began attending Boca Community. Georgette currently serves in the position of Events Director. She is passionate about assisting ministries to accomplish their goals and reach people more effectively. This passion can be seen in everything she does, including BocaLead, of which she has been an integral part since its launch in 2014.

Danielle loves to work with children of all ages. She began her career 25 years ago working in the medical field with a focus on pediatrics. She has since transitioned to education and continues to work with and serve the children in our community.

Head of Christian School
Mrs. Stapleton holds a BA in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University and a Masters degree in Educational Administration from Columbia International University. Since joining BRCS in 1997, Mrs. Stapleton has served in many capacities. She has taught in the elementary, middle, and high schools, served as Middle School Supervisor, Dean of Students & Instructional Quality, Assistant Headmaster, and Interim Headmaster, and now serves as Head of School. An avid sport fan, she and her husband can be seen supporting the many Blazer sports teams.
Mrs. Stapleton and her husband Kent have two grown sons. Her life verse is Isaiah 40:31, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”Send a Message
